As part of our continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a Plasma Table Programmer to join our dynamic team and support both existing and new product development initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs the conversion of drawings into CNC cut files for R&D and Production at SRP for both plasma metal cutting machine and all CNC router tables. Develop an understanding of the plasma table and programming Create files for efficent use of materials Understanding 2D Drawings and 3D models of assemblies, BOM's and shop drawings. Building and testing prototypes Assisting with materials pricing, vendor selection and best manufacturing practices. Evaluating current designs for cost-cutting and implementing easier or more efficent manufacturing methods. Assist in the developing and maintaining company design standards to streamline the enginerring and production process for each project. Education and/or Experience 2D and 3D modeling understanding ProNest (Hypertherm) Solid works and Auto CAD Experience understanding shop drawings, working with document libraries, knowledge of welding and metal fabrication.
