Job Overview

Oversee daily activities of small site clean-up crew and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner. This position requires candidates to work night shifts from 12:00am-9:00am.

This position pays $23.50 per hour.


  • Oversee daily activities of small crew and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner
  • Operate commercial/municipal maintenance equipment to assist in the completion of site cleanup program (tractor, sweeper, scrubber, loader, vacuum, heavy truck)
  • As required, operate machinery to assist in the implementation of the other property maintenance programs, including turf maintenance (mowing, trimming, seeding, sodding, fertilizing, aerating, topdressing, irrigating), vehicle/equipment maintenance (cleaning, sanding, hand painting) or other duties as required

  • Previous leadership experience is preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the operation and routine preventive maintenance of various types of heavy commercial equipment in a commercial, municipal, or golf course setting
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License (class G/G2) with a clean abstract
  • Familiar with Occupational Health & Safety Act
  • P.R. Basic Rescuer/First Aid is an asset
  • Physically fit with the ability to bend, lift, utilize hand tools and tolerate physical demands of the job in various climatic conditions
  • Ability to work co-operatively in a team setting
  • Work a flexible, rotating shift schedule (7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off)
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age to be considered
  • Ability to work 12:00am to 9am during the full time operating season, averaging 40 hours per week with frequent overtime
  • Must provide own CSA approved safety footwear
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (may include; gloves, mask and/or face shield, non-slip shoes etc)
