Senior Electrical Project Engineer

The successful individual will be working on a rotational schedule on site/hybrid assisting with various capital projects.Responsibilities: Assist the Capital Projects Manager with the execution of the capital projects portfolioCollaborate and manage engineering firms to complete detailed engineering for projects;Participate design reviews including drawings, P&ID's, project instructions and specificationsProvide technical support to site electrical infrastructure and support the the construction team during executionLead site-based capital projects throughout the project development processIn collaboration, develop business cases, conceptual ideas, project scopes, technical feasibility reviews.Develop project estimates, prepare and submit Application for Expenditures requestsCollaborate with other groups/teams to execute scopes of work, tenders, technical bid evaluations and assist with general contracts management.Requirements:P. Eng designation with post-secondary education in electrical engineering10+ years of experience working with mine electrical projects including infrastructure, power transmission, substations, medium to high voltage equipment, large battery storage etc.PMP is an assetExperience working at a remote work siteExcellent proficiency with MS Office Suite
